Monty and Archie

Last weekend Sue and I headed over to rural North Yorkshire for a photo shoot with Monty and Archie.

We first met them about 6 years ago.

In fact we entered that years Kodak Awards and an image of Monty from that first shoot made the shortlist.

Here it is.

Here is another image of them both from that first shoot just to see how much – or – how little they have changed.

The location for our latest shoot was fabulous and even the weather was on our side.

There were so many areas that we could use enabling us to make the most of the wonderful natural light.

TIP: Keep away from apples during a shoot when you have wobbly teeth – No not me – Archie. Hope the tooth fairy has been Archie.

McMillan Family Shoot

Last week I had the pleasure of  meeting  with Jill and George along with Connie and twin boys, Duncan and James.

Not sure what’s happening at the moment as we have twins on a previous post, along with triplets on another shoot recently.

We could not have picked a better day weather wise and our location was Sandsend, Nr Whitby, a fabulous beach with lots of photo opportunities.

Twins

Mark has just done a shoot with twin girls.

It was a hot and sunny day so it was a case of working a little harder with the natural light.

Great for shooting with backlight and shade.

Business commitments usually mean that Sue and I would not usually take a major break during the middle of the year.

However an opportunity that was simply too good to miss came our way, and we have been lucky enough to have spent a good part of June travelling.

We will have some images ready to post very soon and will then tell you more about where we went.

Fitness First

I met Peanut this week.

Peanut is the newest staff member and mascot at Fitness First Pontefract.

He’s a huge (Great Dane size) character in a little (Chihuahua size) body and despite being only twelve weeks old, I am told he is about as big as he is going to get.
